Guitar Mania

Grandpa Bob came through with a guitar strap and voila -- musicians sprung up in our household. Of course the sunglasses were a necessary addition.

Its all music all the time now. Ashton can now whistle and snap and Jacqueline can be heard singing several songs on her own (Twinkle Twinkle, ABC, Happy Birthday, Itsy Bitsy Spider, Wheels on the Bus, E-I-E-I-O and so on).

Ashton takes Jacqueline to her Music Together class on Thursday mornings and they really have a great time.

Flying High

Took a flight to Hawaii and the girls wanted to sit together to watch videos. In fact the whole trip the girls were very anxious to sit next to each other.

Easter Fun

Easter Eggs, Easter Baskets -- we did it all. You'll notice that the tongue was a critical element to the egg hunt.

Fairyland Rocks

If you haven't been to Fairyland in Oakland yet you really should give it a try. Sure, its old and run down but when your a kid you are happy to overlook those things.

Here are some cute photos of the girls on the way to Fairyland.

I love to climb

Grandpa Bob was nice enough to refinish a rocker for Jacqueline. Unfortunately, we had to put it up in the attic since her first inclination was to climb on it!

Good news is that she has quit flying off the coffee table when she climbs up on that. She's now pretty good to sit down. I guess I need to be thankful for small favors.

New Furniture in the Condo

Thank goodness those old couches are now dead. They outlived their usefulness several years ago but being out of work for a season, with a new baby, put replacing them at the back of the agenda. Anyway, they are finally gone.

The new chair has room for mom and both girls which is a relief, as things can get ugly when we don't all fit together. (btw I'm sure you can imagine how thrilled I am about the nice match of my socks in this photo -- really makes the outfit as if the jammies wasn't enough)

Natasha, on the other hand, looks great (of course).

We have a skiier

Ashton's first trip she only went one time and while she did great I think she was not sure if she liked it. The second trip she went two times. By the end of the first day we were told she had gone up on the first time chair lift! Here is a photo of her on the "magic carpet". As you can imagine her dad is beside himself that he has a daughter who likes to ski.
